Did you try slowing down? Were your flaps down? When you loose your elevator, your pitch can only be modulated by the lift of your wings. That means that changing the lift by slowing/accelerating or putting down your flaps is the only way to raise or lower your plane.

Just out of curiosity... how many rounds should it take into the top of an open turret to kill the gunner?
panzer gets turret killed -or- 1 ping TOTAL kill from 4k+ out cause some "GAMER" knows how to "rig" sights for impossible realistic shot.
My grandfather was in ww2 and on a mobile artillery platform. They sighted in at near max range in order to hit a road if anyone came down it. The next day, a soldier was riding a bike down the road and they fired off one shell resulting in a direct hit. The soldier called them gamers too.

I think the solution is to get on channel 1 and channel 2 and complain as loudly as you can that everyone is cheating/gaming/hacking and that everyone is ruining your fun by not flying rook. That should help sway the numbers to your side.

I guarantee that HTC has some changes planned. Its their forte. I sincerely hope that none of them involve this little squeak fit you've put forth here. If you want to see change... this is not the way to go about it.
