Redwing, Sundog, 10Bear, Nuttz, Jihad, and CMs team

now that we have the opportunity to edit the skins, maybe we could work on the correct skins that go with your terrains? Would it be possible to have your email addresses so I can know what are your past and future projects, what CMs are planing to put in the CT next and I can start putting a list of "what we need".

Maybe some skinners would help make CT/scenarios a more accurate/enjoyable place?

Wotan mentioned in a previous thread that 10bears greek terrain needs a Greek HurriIIc - If anyone can find any pics of one (I can't so far) and wants to give it a go your more than welcome to the originals of the two Hurris I did as a start point.

I'm currently working on a pair of F4F's. A Martlet Mk1 in white and a MkIII in blue/grey both in British FAA camo.

I'm sure if anyone needs anything specific they'll shout. Winter camo stuff might be a good place to start if your bored tho. I've only seen a La5 in winter camo so far, Kweassa I think did that.

Texman, all I know is what has been posted here. Greek terrain is being worked on by 10Bears as far as I am aware. You'd have to email him direct for any specifics.

The best thing to do imho is build your own terrain.

We need a map for the new mission theater. a 512 x 512 map of some of of england western europe that extends east to berlin.

We need this map to have plenty of strat objects. We need it to include road ways and trainstations. It needs clouds.

Its need built up areas that match where the real life cities are.

This would be a squad size project. One guy would get burn out.

The first mission theater will be the 8th airforce. I dunno if ht will include a new terrain with it but I dont see how it could work without one.

I dont see how it could work with out the correct aircraft models either but we will see.

I don't know squad in map building, and honestly it's not really my thing. In the other hand, in my eyes, it would be great for the comunauty to fly the actual aircrafts.

I wish to gather a group of persons to provide profiles. The way I see it work,

TOD/CT/ Mission Theater builder/organizers let me know what planes they will use. We advertize for profiles on the BBS. We build them and they can be included the terrain. I also wish to store the skins on a web page, so the map makers will have them directly accessible.

What do you think?

I think that just moves us back to the idea Duedel posted, which didn't get much response then.

 It would be better if we had a skin collections site on the net, where people can submit their skins. Then the managers of the site can organize the skins into categories(like theaters) and provide the needed set to the terrain builders.

120 MB ain't gonna cut it.

I'm finishing up my server and ran into a minor snafu, once I get over this last hurdle It should have 204 Gig's of storage space.
Just checked I have over 10 gigs of maps/skins already.
