Question 1 is easy. You kill the town, and then get someone to bring in a C-47 "goon" with troops (or "drunks"). This is one of the loadouts (selectable in the hanger) for the C-47. you can also use a ground vehicle (M-3) if there is a spawn point from a nearby base that is close to the target.
Question 2 is ENTIRELY subject to opinion.
A lot of people will say "its not the plane, it's the pilot" meaning the better pilot will win no matter what plane he is in. This is actually not entirely wrong. The better pilot will use the strengths of his plane against whatever weaknesses your plane has. If your plane turns great, but climbs worse than his, he will fight a vertical fight.
Next, if both pilots are equal, which is the best plane. Welll,. . . how do you like to fight? Do you like to turn and burn (dogfight) or do you like to zip through the fight at mach 2, cherry picking the unwary? Two completely different planes are "best" for these two tasks (and you won't get a consensus on what those two planes are either. :-)
Generally, the P-51 is FAST, and sorta manouverable.
The N1K2 (niki) is VERY manouverable, accelerates well, but has a lower top speed.
The spit is faster than the N1K2, but not as manouverable.
The La-7 is hell on wheels. Fast, manouverable and accelerates well. It has a very low ammo loadout, but kills very well with it's 3 cannon.
The P-38 is the easiest plane to learn in, but it does nothing 'the best.' It's pretty good at everything.
The FW-190 is the king of the big guns. If you hit something, it dies. (2-20mm, 2-30mm cannons, 2 13mm MG's)
The Typhoon and F4u-c have 4 20mm Hizookas. (Hispano 20mm) This is probably the best singe weapon in AH. High muzzel velocity, great hitting power, decent ammo load.
Finally, we look at "perk" planes. As you kill people, you get perk points based on the "value" of your plane divided by the "value" of their plane. If you fly a high value plane (meaning not as 'good' as the others) and you shoot down a low value plane (meaning a plane that is better than yours) you get more points.
for example, a P-51 has an 'enemy value' of 10. A FW-190 A8 has an 'enemy value' of 35. So if the FW shoots down the P-51, the FW driver gets 3.5 perks. If the P51 shoots down the FW, he gets about .33 points.
When you get these perk points, you can then 'purchase' things like the ME-262 (german jet) or Tempest or Spit-14. These are planes that would 'unbalance' the arean if they were free. No one would fly anything else, and it would not be as much fun.
Ouch out.
