So, we agree that you're an ass? Easy to be an bellybutton when you're relatively anonymous, are you the same in real life? I suspect you are.

Um - what I think you are trying to say is that you dont recognize my name, correct?  If so, you will take note of my signiture.  Regardless, if you are the Iron I remember, you havent been here long enough to understand my frustration anyway so the point is moot.

In any event - my attempts to find DejaVu in the game have gone without success.  As such, I offer my apolgy to him here.  You have a real tendency to get under my skin with some of the crap you post and your insulting remarks directed at others on this BBS, but I was out of line with what I said, and I regret it.  I am sorry.

If you want to understand the true pain that is the pizza map, log on during Australian evenings when there are 60 people online. Everyone has 3 or 4 bases to themselves!

During peak hour though, I quite like it.

Pizza map is not good during the evening hours in the Far East (ie Japan, Korea, Australia, New Zealand) because you end up just taking bases (with no defense) and it feels no better than an offline game or some other computer game where you just fight the computer.

I wish something could be done about the colors though...

Well, I've been here since beta and did the early FC as well. As a wingwalker there however. Anyhow, I am ignorant of the history between you and Dejavu. Just thought that was a low blow about his pet. And I see you're man enough to admit it.

I think most will agree the textures are too harsh - even the guy who created the textures.

In retrospect, it's obvious (to me anyway) the altitudes of the bases are too extreme.

However, I love the concept: 512 x 512 map and symmetric map.

Two weeks after the map was out, a version was submitted to HTC with different textures (as I recall) and the altitudes toned down.  HTC has elected to stay with the current map.

I know how I feel about it.  I wish HTC would pull the map.  I'm sick of listening to your constant whining.  I know there's probably only 10-20 of you who feel compelled to constantly whine and complain.  Now that I think about it, you're the same 10-20 who whine and complain about everything.

I take it back!  Don't take the map out of rotation!  Maybe HTC will note your callsign and switch the terrain to AKDesert everytime one of you login.  What's that you say?  "By god, I'll quit Aces High!"  Heh, wouldn't that be a loss. :)

"I'll leave the fluffing to your mom dickhead, not everyone is content to be an opportunist in a getaway plane . If I was also too stupid to figure out how to use a bombsight I might have had less than 13 bomber sorties last tour . Of course then I'd probably have resentment towards players who choose to fly bombers too ."

gee.... dickhead I understand but the rest is gibberish.   Are you saying that my FM2 or -1a are "getaway planes"?  Are you saying that flying fluffs is.... difficult?   are you saying that I flew 13 sorties in em?  (only flew two i can recall, one in an Il2 and one in an a20 and not to battle buildings).   Resentment towards milkrunners?  How could that be samm or suave or whoever.  If you are suave then, by looking at your K/D I can see why you wouldn't want to run into any other players.

I will say again, personal attacks will not be tolerated on this bulletin board.  If you feel the need to do so, take it someplace else.
