Skin options in hangar

Just something kooky that popped into my mind while looking in the screenshots forum.  Wouldn't it be cool if you could choose from a few different skins or paint schemes for each individual plane?  That way we could choose from different squad markings, etc.  Perhaps this would only be visible to the player (since people rarely get close enough to see your paint job).  Perhaps also there would be two or so default skins and at least one open slot for user-made skins.  Like I said it's primarily for the player's benefit and it's purely aesthetic, but I think it would be cool to relive the different aspects of a plane's history.  This would also be a way to incorporate the lend/lease planes and the planes that different branches shared.

Yes, I too would like to see HTC's art department stay busy by allowing the user to select different skins for each individual plane.  As far as the different skins only being visible to the player; I would prefer the skins be visible to everyone, but limiting them to the player is an acceptable work-around - especially if it is a personalized skin.

Just to expand on this idea a little, I would like to see OD green bombers with the same group marking worked into the bomber formations so that not all three planes are exactly the same.

I'd prefer a repair option in the hangar, you'd just have to drive in and you'll be fixed within 30 seconds!

i'd just like an option to either select the default skin or the custom one that came with the terrian (if availble)
