Yeah... but he did use the word, Dashole. I predict that in two years, Eagler will still be complaining about Daschle.

Well he won't be complaining about the Republican, because that will be a chargable offence subject to summary execution.  :D

I can just imagine Eagler's response.  "Well it doens't affect law abiding citizens, that don't complain about the Republicans."

Quite honestly, the Democrats snatched defeat from the jaws of victory.

While NJ went Democrat, I don't personally believe running to the courts yet again played well around the country.

The Wellstone "Memorial" service couldn't have come at a worse time or have been handled more disastrously. Mondale has just conceded to Coleman.

Nearly every place visited by Clinton resulted in a loss for Democrats.

I have to admit, I am surprised by the election. I didn't see any way the Republicans would pretty much sweep Congress. I can honestly say I am not sure I am comfortable with one party in control of all branches of the government either- opposition is good. As stated in another thread, the Republicans have no excuses in the next two years. If they don't accomplish some serious goals in that time there could be a reversal of biblical proportions.

Then again, the Democrats did vow to whup the Republicans after the 2000 election fiasco, swearing 2002 would be their year... ;)
