programming USB CH throttle
« on: November 17, 2002, 05:33:34 PM »
Having problems programming views onto a hat switch on my CH USB throttle. Aces High currently uses keys on numeric keypad to bring about various views, but any time I program a number using CH's Control manager, it is interpreted as a number on the main keyboard and changes my crew position (ie "2" jumps to rear gunner position) rather than changing my view. Any suggested strategies here?

read the keymapping instuctions in order to progam keys from the keypad you need to progam it as kp9 kp7 etc etc. Same thing with fkeys IE f1 f2 etc etc. I made the same mistake with my new setup spend some time reading the instuctions you will find all kinds of kewl stuff you can do.

Thx for suggestion. I used joystick mapping to tweak the POV hat to my specifications, then I took the POV function away from combat stick and assigned it to the hat on throttle in CH Control Manager, and it worked fine.
