I would love to know exactly what the pilot was thinking at exactly this point, "when he heard a thump and saw the man's feet and legs leaving the airplane".

How do you fall out of a plane, even in a turn?  He must have jumped, or maybe he was messing around with the pilot's wife.

Kinda wonder what happened. Was the door not latched? Did the victim open the door? Raises questions about exactly what happened...

Ever heard of a G-force? When you make turn in a car, everybody seems to be pulled "outward" by inertia? same in a plane.

Not quite, the plane must roll to turn, a car doesn't.  In a coordinated turn your "gravity" is pulling you straight down to the bottom of the plane not stright down to the ground.

"The pilot told investigators that both men were strapped in when the small trainer aircraft took off from the airport."

Investigator: Were you both buckled in prior to the flight?

Pilot: Yes.

Investigator: How do you know?

Pilot:  Er, um, well, I belted him in myself. Yeah, that's it! Yeah, I belted him in myself."

Actually, all he would have to do is glance over at the other guy's seatbelt, the 152 has side-by-side seating.  It should be part of his pre-takeoff checklist.  Something's fishy.

I'll say...it sounds like a little Bre-Ex "out of the helicopter you go" action.

I still kick myself for not selling Bre-Ex "short" the day after that was reported.

some people just don't like seat belts , they are too "restrictive" and "uncomfortable".

if some one dosn't want to use the seat belt in my car, i point to the windshield and tell them i don't care if they get hurt , but the windshield cost $200 to replace.

Belts have nothing to do with it.  People don't fall out of airplanes under normal circumstances, any more than they fall out of cars.
