I've always disliked the promotion of a race as "one people".  I've never liked the way Jesse deamed himself a representative for so many others that had such a vast collection of beliefs.

Ya know... these guys are doing more for blacks than jesse ever did.  bout time some blacks showed they weren't sheep and that they could think for themselves... whites have been denouncing "white leaders" like the KKK for a long time.

While I agree with you Lazs, I think it is also important to remember that Blacks in this country had a reason to "circle the wagons" and act as a group. They didn't really have the opportunity to create an enemy within their own ranks , they had (have) plenty outside the group already.
