Yes it was wrong translated.

Yes that is the best sollution. If people are allowed to squelch range completly they will maybe miss importend information.

But remember that when you find someone that is really bad just squelch the cpid and it will also squelch the voice.
I will try that. :)

Is it ironic that we play a game celebrating the machinery of war, and the player's ability to "kill" his opponent....and we are worried about our children hearing a naughty word?
Popeye That is it, right there. A game! When my son plays he does not picture (as maybe some of you do) the guts of the pilot you just shot at being splattered all over the cockpit. When you watch football do you celebrate players getting broken ribs, shoulders, legs? How about Archery? You picture a human target? Martial Arts, the maiming and killing? Personally I celebrate and admire the skills and knowledge these athletes have and the virtual pilots skills of ACM and in my son as he grows and learns. I, as you put it, celebrate not the loss of a pretend life, but the skill.

I am asking for a game change, not a behavior change. But that really bothers some of you who are so indignant, but can’t see it.

U guys are crazy.
If a child can shot down virtual humans then it should be allowed to hear some swearings. If not it shouldn’t be allowed to play.
U americans are funny sometimes. U allow children to use firearms and pistols but u not allow them to say bad words ??
So children shouldn’t be the cause to squelch 1.
fffreez my son is shooting down a virtual airplane. I gather you picture the human element also. So narrow minded! Put all Americans in the same box. Assume we all raise our children the same way and if we don’t play the way you do then too bad, we should not be allowed to play. You assume we all let our children play with guns so they will grow up to be John Wayne and kill all the bad Indians and anyone else that gets in our way. Yet we are all so pious we can’t see past our nose.

Bottom line is some of you are offended by what you envision as my judgment on your behavior. Yet this post was never about my asking anyone to change, but the choice not to listen to what I deem inappropriate for my children. Never would you lose any rights or privilege in my request, but I would simply gain an option that would allow me not to listen to you. And you are offended by that.

Get a grip.

HT. If you decide to add a mute option for RANGE then might I suggest that you have their name CHANGE COLOR on the range list so someone doesn't keep trying in vain to talk to someone on vox?  Similar to the AFK color change.

Thank you :D

LMAO
Yup. Thats about the size of it. We're also the same society that lets our kids watch all sorts of blood voilence and gore on TV, in the movies, video games Etc but goes banannas to "protect" our children when the naked  human body is shown.

Doesnt make a whole lot of sence to me either But I have no problem with a squelch command for those who desire to have one. At least those people are  actually willing to take the responsability of raising their kids into their own hands as opposed to expecting everyone else to do it ,which seems to be the trend over the last 15 years or so So I applaud those who are asking for it.
Myself personally I  honestly rarely hear vulgarities on the vox channels and would say from my perspective they are the exeption rather then the norm.
But even when I do it doesnt bother me even when my  6 or 14 Y/O's happen to be around.
Like I said, I see it as the exeption rather then the norm.  And I usually hear worse whenever I turn on the TV or go to the store.
so the whole issue for me is neither here nor there
