I thought I should introduce myself before I start filling other threads with nonsense
This is my first posting in the AH forum. I just don´t know where else to but this thread, so I chose the O´club.
I started playing AH last week after my squad thought about leaving WWIIOL and changing to another game. I allready have some experience with online flightsims though. I had been playing WB on the german server for two years until they closed it down in 1998. Later I changed to WWIIOL and joined a squad of some more survivours of WB, but I soon got bored by the gameplay which feels more like besieging a medieval fortress than WWII.
Now I think it´s time for an online-flightsim again, so here I am
Slowly I start feeling familiar in the air again, but there´s still lot to relearn, especially my gunnery sucks. Maybe you have seen me in the MA recently, usually I´m the one who tries to hit anything (but misses most of the time) and finally runs away out of desperation
My favourite ride in WB had been the 190a4, so I allready had some slight success in the a5 here. But I have also tested some the other rides in the game. The C.205 is a nice plane, the tiffy isn´t bad either, and I start to like this flying brick people call the P47. Yesterday I spend my hard earned perkies on a Tempest and even managed to bring it home alive, alltough I think there was a "shoot me" sign attached to my back since I attracted far too much attention.
But you´ll never see me taking place in a N1k, Zeke or Spit. Something I can´t stand (because I suck at it) is turning and turning and even more turning.
Well, the main reason for this post: I have heard that, after WB.de closed town, some of the pilots changed to AH. But either I haven´t met any yet, or they have all changed their callsigns (as I did, my old callsign was jensxx, or sometimes -jens-)
If anybody of them is listening:
Tach Leute, lebt ihr auch noch? Meldet euch bitte mal, ich würde gerne wissen, wer alles hier ist.
Maybe HTC should introduce a Newbie-Forum, where all those "hi, I´m new" posts could be put in...
