Which rudder pedals for a Cougar?
« on: November 28, 2002, 11:56:01 PM »
I finally replaced my aging X36 with a brand new uber toy - the Cougar. But this also means i have to get rudder pedals because the Cougar doesn't have any controls that can be used as rudders. I mean - technically it's possible but ergonomically it would suck.
Which rudders do you use with the Cougar? Any recommendations from the experts? :)
Do the CH pro pedals work when directly connected to the Cougar via gameport or is it better to get the USB version and use them as two separate devices?

thanks in advance :)

Well leitwolf I have an old set of TM RCS pedals that connect into the stick and they are working fine. I am thinking about doing one of the mods found over on the Cougar World forums to make them into toe brake capable rudders but that will be a little while.

I have a set of TM Elite and CH Pro USB pedals that both work great with my Cougar especially the CH ones with their toe brakes making taxiing in AH much easier. The gameport CH Pro pedals AFAIK work fine with the Cougar apart from the toe brakes which do not.

P.S got your mail Reschke reply on the way
