I really doubted wether to post this or not, given the general attitude in this BBS as of lately. Maybe it's only burnout developed after too much time on line, maybe not. But since I will be out of business until next sunday, I think I'll be certain about this in no time.

After a couple days online after the score thinghie, this is my general impression.
Each passing minute I see more and more pilots flying the Bishop way.
- People flying in flocks only to vulch a field.
- People defending fields only when they have numbers, then leaving field to the attackers' mercy when attackers have defenders + 1 numbers.
- People running fast rides, limiting their "fighting" to ill-fated dumb tries of the hi-speed, hi-deflection shot...I would bet they even close their eyes on squeezing the trigger...
- Triple A is less Bishops's best friend, but a general behaviour.
- Dweeby behaviour, forgetting anything historically resemblant and limiting AH experience to "How this n' that would paddle my score".
- "Be the perfect lemming in 10 easy lessons.", the standard flight manual of the average Bish pilot, has to compete for its standing with "Being a chicken is not a sin. An essay on autoconfidence." both books are more common than ever.
This is not a post directed against Bishland, as my position with regards to them is widely known and need no further explanation, but a call on those who still care about actually fighting.
I still give a salute to these Bish pilots who still care to put up a fight. It is not only tough, but brave, trying to maintain what are supposed to be the standards of virtual pilots when such a huge number of countrymen are determined to ruin the name of your country.
In Rookland, we used (and still we do) to care about dogfights, way over "strategical" matters. Against Knitland, you are most likely against the "smart" fighter, but a fighter after all, who will take risks to shoot you down while developing his plans. But the lemming jabo and the chicken fighter so inherently pegged to Bishops are a worrisome spreading tendency.
And to those soft-skinned Bish individuals who say or think I'm wrong, I admit I am. Generalization has an inevitable error within. Still, generally speaking, it applies. The pity of it is that I'm starting to see the general bish behaviour spreading. Maybe it's only an impression.
Of course I won't critizise other's way of playing this game, each one uses his own bucks. But I say wide open that I don't like it the way this is going so far. No, I don't like the score experiment.
Cheers,
