Well, I guess it's some consolation to know I'm not the only player bored with Horde Warrior.

I'm even thinking of applying for a CT guest permit.

I think pepe was trying to say how things have changed since money got in this.

I had a night takeoff in front of me at a base, I had just killed vh hanger 1 ack was going back in Goon. The guy that was helping cover disco'ed. About 2/3 way to base I ask SAUVE to kill last ack at base. He asks " IS vh hanger dead I reply yes only 1 ack up can you kill. His reply " I"M RTB" he goes and leaves me. Instead of killing last ack at a Zone vh base.

I've seen Bishop 110 sitting at his base shooting hs own hanger, Hot pad and re shoot hanger. I've seen knight, bishops&rook bombers dropping 1 4k bomb on city rtb. Seen many knights not shoot ack because it will destory his hit%. and alot will just stay at 22k untill you or someone else takes out ack then boy they come down in a hurry, Guess they decided we didn't need high 22k cap any more.

What is amazing is most of these people don't stand a chance of being in top 15. so once first 2 weeks are up arena will get back to normal, until next TOD starts.

So far only player I've seen in top 15 mix it up is AGJV44 . Rest if con higher or faster plane or more numbers they run away, and leave friends behind.

I like to see top 5 fighter pilot number of kills TOD, top 5 gv killers, top 5 bomber pilots most destruction,

Now its not guys who are a value to thier teanm Being rewarded but guys willing to find ways to pad score, while rest team is taking ground winning war.

So far I haven't really changed anything, and I've got really high rank for right now.  Here is my opinion-

Dropping 1 4k bomb on something to get your 'hit % up' is kind of a waste of time.  I drop all the bomb in one big salvo, and try to destroy the whole target I'm dropping on.  Sure, my hit percentage isn't as good as some peoples, but you can make that up in other categories.

De-acking in fighter mode.  Good thing.  Yea, it costs you 'accuracy'... but if you get to vulch people then your accuracy goes right back up higher anyway.  People that refuse to deack in fighter mode arent doing it because it'll drop their accuracy, they are scared of dying to the ack, and would like YOU to die so they don't have any competition in the vulch.

So far I haven't shot at any of my own buildings, but my attack rank is still pretty good.  I don't think you get credit for 'damage' if you shoot your own buildings, so if you take off to sit next to one of your hangars and shoot it, you are getting one category up (hit %) at the expense of all the other categories.  Why not actually take off, and go shoot enemy buildings?  Then you could get all the categories up.

I thought his whine was country behavior related- not behavior since money-on-the-line related?

Anecdotal data is worthless. I can come up with an anecdote that "proves" the problem lies with Knights:  as a lone Bishop I went to investigate a single dar con that popped up momentairily near an isolated Bishop base.  Once it noticed that I saw it, it, and literally 28 other Knights, went above dar on their way to attack the base.  That's 29 Knights in a mission to milkrun an undefended base.  I sought out the goon and dived on him in the middle of many defenders.  Got many hits but didn't stay to kill him as I would have surely died.  Now what exactly is your point here?  I am a Bishop and I run from 'fair' fights?  What would have been the point of taking on 29:1 odds?  Save the base?  Surely with 29 in the mission they had another goon- or would have upped one.  You can't win against superior numbers.  Why up your blood pressure by dying in hopeless circumstances- why not seek out a better deal at some other field?

Anecdotal evidence is worth nothing.  Statistical evidence is what you need.  I have done occasional statistical analysis of the roster and until recently it normally showed (at times I log on) that Rooks were severely outnumbered almost always, Bishops had middle numbers, but few coordinated squads (with more than 3 flying) in the air, and Knights almost always had superior numbers (sometimes more than Bishop and Rook combined) and, more importantly, had many more coordinated squads up.

HTC has side balancing steps planned.  Wait for those.

If the whine was regarding behavior changes due to the money prizes: I can't imagine anyone foolish enough to make that change their behavior- i.e. most people know they have zero chance of winning anything whatsoever.
