i wonder how many phrases or words were created from the mmog flight sims? i can only think of a few that originated here.

I understand and respect what you say here Hornet, but I don't completely agree.

Black humor has been a part of this game for many years and many respectable players have indulge in it. Certainly others have the option to complain, but the motivation should be understood.

AW is a part of AH, no matter how many wish it weren't so. AW is AH's inheritance... the third part of a trilogy. Few players know of the past nor care. But for some it is something of great value. If they choose to preserve the past, that option should not be closed to them.

So this is your argument? I hate to get belligerant, but I must. You cite Shane as being "self absorbed and self justifing" while you bath in self absorbtion of AH. I much prefer Shane's dweeb calls than your sanctimonious, self righteous, AH defining bull toejam. If it were not for the responses of people like you (which, BTW permeate the arena even when Shane is not there), Shane's taunts would go unnoticed.

Here's a clue for you Oedy, not that I expect you will take it. We will function as we see fit, not by your standards. What has been has been regardless of your attempts to erase it. If I choose to invoke the legands of AW here or anywhere else, I will do so regardless of how you feel about it. If I use reason and history to explain why some things are as they are, the fact that you do not like it does not in any way deminish the truth. If former AW players wish to continue to function as they did in AW, you do not have the authority, right nor balls to stop us.

AH is the greatest of them all. HiTech was someone we knew and respected long before the first code of AH was written (an icon of AW himself). HTC is a terrific, customer oriented company, the very best I have ever seen. And some of the character, and characters that AW had is an asset to AH, not a liability because you don't like it. Yes AW IS dead, but not those who loved it. We bring that love to HiTech's creation in spite of you. YOU WILL BE ABSORBED >=o|

Do you mean here, as in AH? Well, "facestudmuffin" is one... I expect there will be others =o/

I'd very well expect that "facestudmuffin" comes from AH, as AW had code to thwart face shooting.

look at it as a form of "hate" if you will, because by cod <-- oops i've let out another AWism - i do so enjoy bringing forth the inherent guilt feelings of hamstards. nothing pleases me more than to take one of the 5 lamer ganger dweebs, who btw get all chest puffy when i say that after i they get me, to the DA for a nice little one on one an dputting them in their place. hell, i'll even go as far as to offer them some tips for getting better.
