I have been saddened at all the HTC bashing going on about the current scoring contest. It seems to me that the people over in Texas came up with an idea on how to "give back" a bit to the community that has made them what they are. I know a lot of you asking for this a few months ago! There were posts about "why not give out prizes" HERE on this very BBS. There were other similar posts but do the digging on your own.

Well... ask and you shall receive.

IMHO it is bad class to verbally bash the very one who is trying to give you something. No matter what it is and how he (non PC word for all @ HTC) decides to give it.

There have been many trolls about the "scoring method" being porked, and accusations of cheating all over. I have yet to see Any proof of the "supposed" cheating. All these posts seem to do is bring out the worst in people, and generally disrupt the fun of this SIM.

It is very disconcerting to see the masses jump all over an idea that was meant to bring on some fun and competitiveness to the players.

I for one know I will not "win" the prizes without some divine intervention... but that doesn't stop me from trying the best I can. All I can hope for is that this silly bickering and general moral lowering talk will go away like most other BBS issues.

In closing, again HiTechCreations for the great work you do, and Thank You for giving something to the community that you never had to give.

They (htc) know all about the whine cycles of this business.  Hell...they have basically lead the way in this genre for a decade.

Still, the crew no doubt appreciates this little "peep" in the vast dark void known as "pre-release aggressive depression tension"

Might as well throw in the obligitory but heartfelt to the folks!
