Drones no longer get the last of the damage on the lead plane when it died.

 Great, just great!

Quote
Fast Eng. start bug was fixed.

Small things, but glad HT was listening!

Quote
Added light sorcing for cockpit lights and muzzle flashes.

 Lovely!

Quote
Added a perk balancing system. Both points and cost are adjusted based on your
Countries numbers.

Woohoo! A lot more Spit14s and Tempests and 262s for the Rooks! Muhahahaha

Quote
Fixed a bug in the panzer where if the turret was turned it exposed the inside of the tank.
This was what was causing the small arms deaths.

 Weeeeellll waddayaknow..
I'd like to see people insert foot in their mouths when this heated debate took place. Yes, it's an admitted bug. So, where does all that BS theories on why .50s can so easily knock tanks out go now? To the dumpsters.

Quote
Adjusted some component hardness on vehicles.

Not sure if this is because HTC admits the turrets or caterpillars  were too weak, or just game play concession, but it's gotta be a good thing for GVs!

Quote
Fixed prop feathering on LA5 & LA7

This, I don't know what it is about. Something probably involved with the "mid-air engine off" method debates? This seems to mean that the La-5FNs and La-7s had something that effected them in maneuvering.. but what?

Quote
Adjusted large bore cannon lethality against non-armored targets.

Does this mean 75mm HEs now are worth something?? Or Ostie 37mms are lot weaker against buildings now? Or both?? Anyhow, must be a good thing!

Quote
Lowered ostwinds armor penetration.

Dunno how to look at this one.

All in all, great! You really were listening HT! My faith in HTC just grew 237% :)

I'm pretty sure it means the Ostwind's days of being a good anti-tank platform are coming to an end.  Viva la Panzer IV H!!!  Viva la Tiger I!!!!

That is all good. Fixes, some new staff etc.

But honestly this list looks more like a patch, not the one of a new version which were in development longer, than any version before. It is possibly more features in this version, which are kept hidden to make us all happy when 1.11 finally out; or majority of mission arena is build already, and 1.12 will be out fast after 1.11. It is also possible that mission arena will be in 1.11 after all.

mission arena in 1.11 - not likely.
It's a partial list, there's no mention of the new planes. Question is will the 163 be included or kept for the mision arena?

bigger cities - much longer down times

sounds like a major change in strategy - sounds like more than a "patch" to me

I believe this is adressing the .303 kills that were filmed and turned into HTC.  No need to start belittling the .50s arguments... unless the engine was exposed by this too.

those 50 cal arguement belittled themselves even the chart ht post didnt support what you saw in terms of angle and range at which pnzr were/are killed.

We can only assume that if 303s were killing panzrs then it stands to reason that the 50s exagerated the effect since they are the most shot calibre in ah.

We can only assume that ALL weapons had an exagerated effect in one particular area, though it should not have been for all damage.

Tracks, engines and even turrets may still be vulnerable to .50s.  HiTech didn't say one way or the other.  One thing seems more certain... .303s won't be effective at all.

Basically, a very vague statement is being made as some sort of victory cry when it actaully says very little in regards to the whole thing.

Patch or not, these are good developments by a proactive company. They address community concerns and were done with all the mission theater work that is underway All these recent AW threads remind me of how spoiled we are over here. It's nice to get an update every quarter, as opposed to say every four years or so.

1.11 to me means a list of minor change / bug fixes / enahncements.

I think Mission arena will fall under a 1.2 level designation.

Me too. But then considering that it sounds like all the terrains are being changed significantly, that's probably very time consuming.
