Woah! Check out the pseudo-elitism! FYI I've been playing AH for the last 2 and half years and I played in the CT alot during its inception.

Assuming, you signed up to the BBS at the same time as you started playing, you've been here less than 6 months.

Still, calling someone an 'arrogant jackoff' from behind a computer screen takes a particular type of courage, and I deeply respect that.

I always shoot chutes in CAP events. Got four last week to go with my five kills. Hopefully I'll ruin someone's streak!

P-51, Spit and La-7 pilots are usually fair targets unless they gave a good fight or there are more worthy targets in the neighbourhood. However, P-51 pilots are the top of my chute shooting list.

Ok let me start over.

#1 This topic is posted in the CT Forum not the CAP Forum. For you other guys, neither the General Forum. So that eliminates the first of your posts.

#2 "unless they gave a good fight" well, as shane would say, "How Lame" and is were I see the "arrogant jackoff".

#3 yes, I have only been in AH for about 3 months and 98% of it is spent in the CT were this was posted to begin with...refer to #1

...so go back to the MA with you MA mentality.
Cheers  ;)

I'm surprised that I can be bothered to reply, but...

First of all this was about chute shooting. Hence I replied, with an example. It was meant to be light-hearted. Simple.

MA mentality? You really can't shake that pseudo-elitist mentality can you? It's even funnier that I'm being 'excluded' from the clique by someone who's only been in the game 3 months. I'm sorry, but if you'd been here longer you might have known that I used to be a CM and I designed the 'Big Week' scenario. I've participated in every scenario there has ever been in AH, and my squad is regularly in the CAP and TOD events. I rarely fly in the MA.

Now go back to your little clique and enjoy your insular mentality. ;)

Wow you did all that!!! I'm so impressed, your correct all of us scum that havent been here as long should kiss your royal ass.
Shadup and pay your AH bill just like all the rest of us. I'm not suprised you replied, and for the life of me can't figure out why your suprised. You must not get enough attention, or you would not have this need to act so superior to everyone.

Dowding. Your are absolutly correct about one thing. Calling you a jackoff from a computer screen is chickenshit, and I am a jackoff for doing it.

However don't let a laspe of judgement get confused with a lack of courage. Your  expressing the elitest arrogance. Naming all the planes the little people beneath you fly, that gives you the right to show your elitesm by shooting their chutes, for the planes they flew. Then you come back with this "what a great assest to game I am resume". Yeah some of us hung on a little to long to Warbirds. I've been in AH over a year now, and your the first person I've met who actually thinks 15 bucks a month is more important than anyone else's.:D

Unbunch your panties, and engage your reading comprehension skills. I used to be a CM. Emphasis on the 'used to be' aspect of that sentence.

lol I really did touch a nerve, didn't I? Do the words 'it's only a game' mean anything to you. You don't get charged an extra premium for being shot in your chute, you know.

I would have thought it was obvious why I posted. I was demonstrating the fact that 'MA mentality' is something I don't think I possess. I'm perhaps more comfortable with the 'fly what you like, how you like' kind of mentality, except when it comes to historical set-ups. Most of the flying I do in AH is outside the main arena, as I was pointing out. I fly AH for scenarios - without them I would have left long ago. Hardly a "what a great assest to game I am resume".

But feel free to pander to any inferiority complex you may be nurturing - I was merely responding to being called infantile names.

LOL.

You have it all wrong Dwoding, I never feel inferior!:D
When I see the I'm better than you attitude come out in this game, it tends to catch my attention. I do this for fun and to relax. I am always amazed, that people bring in class warfare to AH. I don't fly MA because it's not my cup of tea, not because flying CT makes you superior. MA has it's style, and so does CT, the truth is if you boil away the fat they are pretty much the same. Except for the 325th's squad nights where we fly missions, the rest of the time I'm a furballing, HOing, sloberdonkeylamer, and I can do ethier style of flying just as good as anyone.............Even you.;)

The truth is none of the things that happen in AH really matter in the real world. If I shoot down 20 planes in one mission , and land them. I still got to get up the next morning, go to work, provide for my family, and be able to look myself in the mirror.
I'ts a hobby, eveyone pays to play. I'm no more important, or no less important to the great scheme of HTC, than you or any other paying customer. I do think chute shooting is chickenshit, however , it doesnt matter in the long run. It's biggest value is, it makes for some long running threads.

 Man I would love that

Paraphrasing, spelling was changed to protect the innocent

For me personally I don't shoot chutes. I think shooting at something that can't shoot back is not fun and it's wimpy.

I always thought that when I just survived a good dogfight that its just some good pilot code not to shoot a chute. Probably read that some where.  A is much more satisfying

For some reason I can't get myself to do it. It just doesn't seem right.  I've all ready beat him by shooting down his plane. I might do a fly by and a victory roll but that pretty much it, and I don't do that very often.

I used to whine about it on ch 1 but since my chute been shot at and I found out that the chute shooter love it when you whine. I don't give them the satisfaction anymore. I give them the  in defiance. :D Since I don't have my trusty virtual .45 cal pistol with me.     Perk the

Alot of us feel the same Griego.  Thats why you shoudlnt put to much into all the candy tulips that are about to post and tell how out of line you are for having an opinion,  how WW2 combat "really" was,  how you are an elitist because you dont shoot chutes, and how cool they are because they do. Check out the " Whatshisname is a chute shooter" post for the start of this.

Happy New Year  :D
