Back when I flew FA it was very rare that peopel shoot chute's, In FA the enemy Icon also told you the piolets name, so they could be held accountable for their actions. What used to hapen in FA if somebody did actualy chute a shoot, is that a which hunt would insue and the aswipe was hunted like the dog he was, often whole squads would get involved, some tiems even biger groups would particapate. This quickly queled this type of beheaviour.
Personaly bailing is prety pointless, if you are inenemy tertority when your plane is damaged to the extent you nead to ditch it bail, you will be given a death any way so why bail, seeing how the only reasion to bail is to help your rank, it dont matter.
If you are near your base howeaver, their is a reasion to do it if you are looking at saving point's.
As far he who shoots you concerned it does nothing at all for him point wise, the only thing he gets is the aparent satifaction of pissing somebody off(if they even get pissed).
Realy what it all boils down(like al lot of things) is how you take it, personaly I think people who shoot shoots are unworthy of my love.
It used to realy piss me off to be quiet frank, but it's not worth get all bent out of shape abot, I rarely bail, it is pointless to do so 90% of the time for me anyway, and if their are a bunch of enemy cons around and I am near my base I generaly just ride it in.
