Punishing pilots that are good is most stupid idea I have heard for sometime.

That would cause many to fly as poorly as they could since they would know that flying better would make planes more costly to them.

Complaining about 1C getting perked is truly pathetic. It is like admitting that you need a superplane to be mediocre pilot you really are.
Bunch of studmuffingots.

lol jochen, kinda pathetic that people with supposadly great skill whinned incessantly till Chog was  perked, that is whats pathetic. they couldnt handle the plane cause it was kickin thier ass, so they whinned till it was perked. yep i flew Chog and other planes too, and i also had a almost 3 to 1 K/D vs it.  people who squeak/whinned about chog are nuthing but plane racist and got thier way. i wana hear u yap when your fav plane gets perked.

the pilots who loudly gloat here n channel 1  about chog perked are truely pathetic.

We had some 400 kills or right around there in the F4U-1c brady finished in the DJ top for that category.  I had 144 kills in it.  I used it from the CV 95% of the time.  I was not whining about it being uber, but that it was so frequent you ran into it.  It was perked because of usage, and 27K in kills for a tour you don't find anything wrong with that?  I think attacking people and saying oh go learn ACM is hogshit.

I am glad it was perked, I don't care if people whine and cry about it either.  It is 8 perk points and that is a far cry for what I have to pay to fly a Ta-152.  Considering only 50 more F4's were made then that plane.  Keep spewing out these taunts or verbal abuses to others I really don't care.  When the MA becomes somewhat balanced I will be happy.

Dear Abby might listen to your whines but we don't care to anymore.

Jeckyll for your two points:

If I am wrong then explain to me why I am. Just don't say "WRONG" to me that sounds like you just disagree but can not answer the question.

Fuel limitation and radar being down are things that yo would experience in a real life war, NOT a perk system.

Jochen this is for you:

Lets say you buy a house on a block. I am your next door neighbor. Now let's say I come over and tell you you WILL respect me because I have lived here longer, I know the neighborhood so forth and so on......what are you going to say? With your eliquance I think I know all ready. In the real world you don't earn privilages you pay for them. You earn money so that you have the privelage to buy cable modem....see how that works? For the rest of your post I will not acknowledge because all you do is talk like one of those kindergarten kids you made an example of.

I pay my 30 bucks so I can play any and all part of the game that I feel the need for, and to have fun. IMHO the perk system is discriminatory. To me it does not work. You only want to make the lesser pilots at a disadvantage so you can feel superior.

balance... it's all about balance.

You can still fly the chog without even scoring a single kill.. you get free perkies to start a tour with.

Besides, you can fly it, I can fly it.. anyone can.. and it's not THE best plane in the MA anyway.

The only way to be really 'fair' with respect to aircraft types against each other is to make all the FM's the same but with different skins.. hehe.. now what fun would that be?

just be patient, your skills will improve.
your kills will go up. your frustration will decrease.

I would punch ya in the face kick ya in the jimmy, and say get the fuc out of my house.  I'll respect ya when your wife stops coming over for a humpfest.

Is that to convincing?

Actually, in a real war environment, you didn't fly the plane you wanted.  You were assigned to a squad and you got assigned a plane.  You learned how to fly the plane your squad was assigned to the best of your ability.  If your squad got a new model, great!  You adapted to the newer and better aircraft.

As for the newer people being discriminated against, I'm pretty sure that's how it went in the real squads.  I don't think the new guy would get the better performing planes in the squad, the senior ranking personnel did.

IMO, the CHog was perked not directly because of it's 4 Hispanos, but because it was accounting for a disproportionate amount of kills in the MA.  In the eyes of HTC it was an imbalance to the arena.  The fact that it does fly pretty well and has the 4 Hispanos is why so many people were flying it.  HTC saw that, decided they wanted more diversity in their arena, so they perked the plane.  I find it very hard to believe that the plane was perked because of people whining about the turbolaser Hispanos and the numerous HO's on this board.

Personally, I did better against CHogs and Nikis than I did against Spits (in terms of K/D).  Of course, I just plain suck, so my stats don't really count for much.

Well Yeah I know that is how it worked but I also know that 99% of the time the Americans did not fly Japanese planes and vise versa.

What I am getting at is from your post should we have six seperate super power countries so it will seem more real life, by only having those planes assigned to the corresponding countries???

I see your point and it is a good one. However I still believe the perk system does not work. I might be right and I might be wrong, but it is just my opinion.

OK, This is the last time I post on this subject. It has nothing to do with respect or honour for the pilots that have been here from day one.(no disrepect intended) I have recieved help from many. It doesn't matter how many perk points a plane cost. Saving perk points doesn't kill people. Nothing we do in this GAME kills people. Spend some time with the people that mean something to you. And if the people that mean something to you are in AH, by all means respect and listen to what they have to say.
THIS IS JUST A GAME.
Play it and enjoy it, shoot your friends down, or let them shoot you down; but ya don't die!

A meager opinion from a hick in GA.

Thanks for making it to the top of your list Jochen

Would you really try to fly bad and get killed just to get ranked lower and to get planes cheaper????    Is the plane cost all that you are after?

The better pilots have a LOT of perks in storage, the newbies have practically none. Good pilots can still kill in just about any planes and earn more perks while doing it in early planes. Maybe the cost differences in my suggestion are too big, but REALLY... If a newbie pays 10 perks for some ride, it should not be that bad for a top pilot to pay at leat 50 for the same ride. Early war stuff would still be free for all.

Just to point out where I stand in this, I have more than 1000 fighter perks and the amount is NOT decreasing.

My suggestion was again just another way of trying to encourage the use of early war planes at least SOMETIMES !!!! Durn frustruating to see some of the top guns sit like glued in nikis.
