What is it exactly you "Good Pilots" want?...

 You want all us fairly sucky pilots just to quit?.
 How bout we all get in our "Perked Chogs" or "Nik Dweeb Plane" and gather in one place , straight and level , and allow you just to blow our suckey tulips out of the sky?
 Better yet..How bout all us guys that don't fly as well as you ACES just quit. Then you ACES can just have a big bellybutton gang bang.
 I didn't fly the F4U1C that much..check my stats and youll see. Bout the only time was when I was Carrier Ops and couldnt fly what I wanted to from there.
 Alot of you mouthy oletimers seem to forget that you onced SUCKED at the flying game to. Oh..Maybe a few of ya were good from the get go but for the most part you all sucked for a bit. You wanted to fly a plane that would help you as well. Or did you all get online in a G10 or whatever B&Z plane you flew and just rip things up. I doubt it.
 If it aint your thing then you damn it. Typical of why todays scociety is the way it is.

 Doubt that most of you know the roll rates and all that crap from a real plane. AND if you do...how the hell can you compare it to a damn computer game. My joystick may be different..My connection..My Puter!!!

 Bottom line is if you don't like it...or it kills ya...then PERK it or run off the guys that like it..then they'll get rid of it. Hope HTC sees all of you lil bellybutton cry babies for just that...CRY BABIES...Guess whatever plane is next will not be long off the hit list...Bet it aint no LW plane bu god...they are the answer to online sims. They are the RULERS of the sky...My bad again..I forget this isn't a game..Its real life...LW is the best...my apoligies before I am sent off to a land far far away....And made to do bad things to the sheep....

Two points.

1. Don't let this thing get you down. This is a great game and very enjoyable recreation if you approach it that way.

2. What they want is for every player to do as they say. (BTW, some of the most vocal are not the "best pilots.") Ignore it, it's your $30; pick a plane, learn it some, have a blast. Next tour, pick another.

Don't get all wrapped up in this. It's still a game.

Reliance on the chog is what is keeping you from developing the skills that would stop you from posting such a world record whine.

Most of the guys you would consider good pilots never got that way flying chogs.
Your post is one of the best testements to the perking of the thing that could be made.

  Ahhh...why not...First off I don't RELY on the chog...stats prove that...hell I don't rely on anything more than luck..My skills are what I Put in to em...and whinning is not what this was..I was as Joe Friday says stating......

  And this game is not my life...its my fun...I'll play anyway...I don't let this game get me down...I have WAY more important things in LIFE to deal with...it was an opinion....

 The facts are a bunch whinned and won...just kinda makes me wonder whats next thats all. Some seem to whine about getting boomed and zooomed. Some whine cuz that cant get a fight at 25k. Others...like me...could care less..just play and have fun...Then theres the one that I stated in my post that want it their way...Nothing more than that...

 Just typical crap....should have known it from the get go....

VFJackal, you got a plane that is identical FM wise in the F4U-D, and you got a plane that scored more than 1000 kills a day on the old map available for less perkies than a decent pilot can get on one sortie with the G2.

The perk system is in place for unbalancing plane, and the chog is/was just that. There's just no arguing with this, so it ain't a whine.

I hope HTC perk more planes, including my 109G10.

I was here before the chog was introduced and no one single feature has had such a dramatic impact on what was once a great combat simulator.  But alas HTC doesnt want a combat sim, they want a dweebfest where dweebs can run nakedly through the park barking their inane bark.  Hence the introduction of every dweebs wet dream, the Chog.

Its not about this, or that.  Its about the other thing.

Also, the price needs to come down.

Somebody took away his little friends toys so now they have to try and learn how to use ACM and he got a little upset.

HTC have warned for ages that the chog would be perked and now they have made good on the promise.  Why all the whining?  If you can't afford 7 or 8 perkies to fly why do you care what plane you are in?  You obviously aren't killing anything anyway...

I think what Jackal is trying to say is that the perk system is BS, not the fact that the Chog got perked.

From what I gather the Perk system was devised when there were smaller numbers of participants in the game and everyone flew the same AC......so HT decided to create the perk and make others fly in other AC. Is that right or wrong???

Another point Jackal is making, at least seems to me, is that we pay 30 bucks a month so we should be able to fly what we want when we want. He also nails the fact that there are two different sides to this debate. The guys that want things their way and everyone to conform and those that want it their way and just do it on their own. I am a Texican so, like Jackal, I don't like anyone telling me what I can or can not do, especially where my money going into someone else's pocket is concerned.

Since we are all paying customers not one of us above the other should have the influence with HT over another paying customer.

So, since you pay $30 a month, don't you think its unfair that sometimes when you log in your country has no radar, or your favourite field only has 25% fuel?  That puts just as much restriction on what you can fly as any perk point scheme.  I suppose you COULD take off in a 190A5 with 25% fuel .. you'd have just enough to reach maybe 10000ft before having to RTB again.
