I just bought the X45 and I generally like it. I was fooling around with multi-mode configurations today and found that I could easily make everything work that I wanted to, but problems arose when I exited AH. The problem was this:
I was trying to use the 3-mode slider button to configure a "fighter mode" and a "bomber mode" Basically I wanted to be able to use the other 3-mode slider (the aux slider) to change my views in bomber mode (mode 2) from internal, to external, to bomb scope. This I accomplished easily. However, upon exiting AH, if the stick was still in mode 2, whatever key was bound to whatever aux mode I was in was on a loop. So, for instance, Windows help would repeatedly pop up. Now this repeating thing didn't happen in AH (I made a macro to test this out), so does anyone know of a fix or a work-around?
I know that AH has stick sets itself, however it does not recognize my mode button slider AND it doesn't give any indication as to which mode it's in when you switch. I'd really like to use the mode slider on my stick.
The manual claims that I can actually make stick profiles for individual games, but the "wizard" they indicate to do this cannot be found. Again, if anyone knows how to bind an individual stick profile to an individual program, this would solve my problem.
Thank you in advance.
