AGP App Size?

Hi,
some of you might have read my previous posts about my fantasticly slow P4.
Just a question, I have a G4 with 128mb of ram. My motherboard only has two options for AGP size. 64mb or 256mb. Any idea's what one would work best? been running the 256 one and about to test the 64 (Lots of haslte to change with intel boards, have to set jumpers to get into the bios).

one other thing, been doing more testing, this is what Ive used.

Off line, North run way. A6M5b.
Soon as the plane apears hit E, then press cannon and guns and let the plane slew to the left and take off over the hanger.
I get 60ish FPS before engine start. then it drops to 42 and then starts to climb up to 60 again as it lifts off over the hanger. (No stick input, only guns firing) the cannons runn out, but the MG will still be firing over the hanger.
Ive tried this at 640x480 -> 1280x1024 and get the same FPS! 16bit and 32 bit! mip map on/off... only time I get it to drop it wind up FSAA to the max and Astro to the max then it drops to 25fps at the lowest at 1280... understandable.

Ive run a number of other bench marks, such as 3d Mark 2001 (get about 8700) and PC Mark 2002 CPU 3758 (a little under what I should get with a 1.7) Mem 4138 (About average fro PC800) and HDD 752 (Not a bad ish score). But it seams to be the CPU that is letting the side down? its not running hot 38 deg under load.

Any ideas?

Changing the aperature size probably won't make a bit of a difference.  That's just how much memory can be allocated to the video card from system ram.  With 128 MB of video memory on your card I doubt AH is using any system memory to store textures.  (I think it uses somewhere around 16 MB or so.)

I agree..
Made no differance.

Come to the concultion that my CPU is lacking.
I installed Win98 this morning, for a laugh, and I still get the same fps. I removed everything other than sound and vid and still the same... must be my mighty P4.. :)
