Yup. I think he set all new records, and pulled a sinking ship back up to the division title. I’ve never seen a QB stand in the pocket with so much time, ever. And he’s like 50.

I can't name a Raider offensive lineman, but I bet you'd find them in a bar just looking for a new well deserved Rolex.

Rich is the man.  He's basically the offensive coordinator.  Reminds me of Magic Johnson or Gretzky in his ability to read the play and distribute the ball to the right guy at the right time.

The scariest thing is that he can still run like hell.  He ran down Shawn Springs earlier this year.  I think he might start taking some risks with his health if he gets a whiff of the Lombardi trophy.

Hah! We here in Kansas City know that Rich is just an imposter quarterback!

Elvis Grbac is the REAL THING and it's really smart that Petersen kept HIM instead of Gannon because just look at Elvis NOW!

.... ok, don't.

But we have TRENT GREEN!!  Just look at his stats!

......ok don't.

Gannon. Man, I wish we'd have kept him and gotten rid of Petersen!

Crouch down and lick the hands which feed you. May your chains sit lightly upon you, and may posterity forget that you were our countrymen!

Gannon winning MVP shows how much parity there is in the NFL, and also shows how much we miss really great QB's as Montana, Marino, Elway.

I thought Gannon deserved it. He had a greeat season, set a record or two and took his team to a top seed in the AFC. Cant really think of a better guy to win it. Favre maybe, but I think Gannons stats were better, besides the w/l, but Green Bay is in a the weakest division, so, hats off to Rich. I'd like to see him and his geriactrics crew get to the superbowl to play against the Eagles :D

Hmm

I think the NY Giants have something to say bout that :)

It'll be the Bucs D that crushes the old man in the pocket :)

Damn straight... because of parity, the defenses actually got easier after Marino, Elway, and Montana retired.

Uh huh... right.

I could win MVP in a west coast offense throwing to Rice, Brown, and Garner... Favre is MVP

Hmmm... using that logic, Favre is a better QB than Montana.

As much as it pains me to say this, being a Chiefs fan of 35+ years, I'm rootin for the Raiders to go all the way.

The connection? Gannon and the AFC West...other than that, I can't stand the Raiders:)
