Please Help!! Why can't my joystick shoot at planes and lauch missles I have looked all over for some kind of awnser but can't find one. I was so excited about the joystick I just got I thought it would control all of the vechicles. I am sure I am probably wrong but if someone could just let me know for sure if I am I would really appreciate it.

Thank you  :D  :(

Ryan

First, did you install the joystick correctly?
Did you calibrate it & test it in windows?

Second did you used to fly AH with a mouse ? You may need to go into
setup/joystick/select joystick

Make sure that the new joystick is selected. Then Calibrate it, THEN it should work.

I'm pretty much guessing here so more details would help.

Skuzzy???

ryan, seems like an easy problem to fix but give us a little more to work with. What kind of joystick? What operating system, cpu, vid card, etc.

You should be able to go to control panel, game controllers and check to see that your joystick is in fact installed, then you can calibrate the joystick while you are there.

Assuming the stick is there in windows, go into game, on clipboard, select setup, joystick, then 'select joystick' and select your new stick. Now, once you selected the stick in the game, you need to calibrate it using the calibrate button -- same window you started from -- setup, joystick, only click calibrate. Follow the instructions.
