I look forward to our plane set getting filled out, and hopefully some trains, railyards and bridges, and re-supply convoys and a Axis/Allies thing to play here.  I think they can do it, it will just take a little time.  I think the WW2 Arena is a good idea.

Kieren I agree....just let the guy post there...who cares really??  It looks like most folks see it for the troll that it is.  No need to bring it over here and stir the pot.

It was quiet and peaceful for awhile between the communities, lets not start all that crap again.  There will be time enough for that when and if the release WBIII.

MG/Rip.. different names but same thing they have done to the competing products and same thing they are doing still.. sad that Rip actually started it all.. he was clearly worried early on post-AH-beta that his new game/love wouldn't get the numbers so he started recruiting up AH and bashing WB hoping that he could sway a few.. someone forgot to tell him that it wasn't needed..

I assume what he did wasn't officially condoned by HTC...  and he's a trainer too..

Dunno who you are RAM, but i've played both AH and WB's.  AH is a great game.  If WBIII fails to impress, i will play either AH or WWIIOL or both.  We will see. But WB's WW2 Arena blows the doors off AH for fun.  No contest.

I don't have to convince myself of that fact.  I know it.

Cabby can you cuote me EVER saying WB is a bad sim? please try to do it, but I assure you'll have some SERIOUS trouble finding it, because I always said that Wb is a great sim but AH is way better IMO.


My comment on MG trying to convince hiself that Wb is better than AH is another thing, tho. AH is way better than Wb from my point of view, but seems that he thinks just the same...but the fact that AH is not on Mac version pisses him off so much that he simply blews toejam on it all day long.

Dont misquote me. Wb is a great sim, AH is a great sim. Ones will like one sim more than the other, but for what it seems, MG thinks that AH is better than Wb.

But he cant fly it.

While we don't often agree on an issue, on this we are in complete agreement. I have always hated the "fantasy" matchups in the WB and AH main arenas. I could care less whether or not a P-51 could outfight a Spit XIV, or whether a 109G10 could outfight a FW-190A5.

I can't wait for the day that AH has a "WW2" arena like WB's.

WW2 was all about the different technologies and philosophies used by the conflicting sides. We shouldn't have to hold special grudge match "P-51 vs. FW190A5" brawls like the one last Sunday. It should, instead, be a regular occurance in the MA.

And wait till ya'll see the BOB Terrain!  WhooHoo! it is cool.  So is the Pearl harbour Terrain for that matter.

This is really about all HTC needs to do is release the terrain editor(even to the CM's only) to create some real fun.  New planes are a given, but real maps are what it is about.
