Estes, Shane, and Eagler.
It had nothing to do with not wanting to die , in fact I did better flying for the LW last night than I did the one spit hop I took. Look yes we are not an RAF squad in the 325th. We are Allied, so we tend  go into each ETO setup flying Allied. The 325th Flies Japanese during the PTO's save for the one time the P-47 was available, and we flew it. Yes it was way out of balance last night, Yes I would not have enjoyed it ethier. We have our own scoring system in the 325th, so we flew one Allied mission so my guys could keep their scores for the website.

I did hear, and see all the complaints, and started watching the numbers. As soon as we did our joint mission with VF-27 Jester00, and I called an RTB , and ordered the whole squad to switch to Luftwaffe. I don't blame you guys , but then again I doin't blame the guys who are flying what they want ethier. It had nothing to do with fear of dieing too fast, if that was a fear of mine, i'd given this hobby up long ago.

Perosnally I like flying Luftwaffe. We did our squad sortie, and then we did what we felt was the right thing, if that doesnt sit well with some of you, I'm sorry.

low numbers had absolutely nothing to do which side we were on.  The fact 3 squads wanted to fly joint ops did.  3 x 7 or so = 21 guys all flying on the same side cause they want to fly together.

None of us were flying allied cause we were 'yeller'.

if that was the case we would have been flying the planes with cannons and climb.

actually i posted my #'s post before you had started that last 1 or 2 joint missons, then i went back in arena and remarked on #'s now and then; then the vf27 hellcats did come axis and blanced things out nicely - and i recall saying thx on ch2.

was no real biggie, but no one likes facing 3 - 1 odds over an extended time. seveal axis pilots had already logged by the time you guys came over. i just figered you or the checkertails would come over for a while (not like there's a 12 hr limit) seeing as how the 880 sqdn is basically a brit squad and felt it was *their finest hour* or week if you prefer.

with the basically unlimited side switching, there's no real reason #'s should get out of whack for more than 15-20 mins.

weeeeellllllllll... seeing as how the BoB was basically a LW offensive, it might have made more sense to do that joint ops on the lw end, unless you were just pigpil.. errrr fighter sweeping.

no biggie, #'s did balance out eventually.

Yeah Shane, we actually come in there for a fight believe it or not. Our squads just wanted to try this thing out to see how it went. Went well I suppose, but not everyone got to shoot a Jerry down since there weren't enough to go around. :D

Like you said, no biggie..or at least not to the majority of us. Channel 1 was the best part of that sortie actually. ;)

I am glad things evened out.  I had to log after the first run, so I had no idea what happened the rest of the night.  Thanks for understanding shane.

Next time....   Remember, and let the other guys flying axis know that some of us will even it out soon, so they dont log out.

Sheesh, girls what's all the fuss?  It was just another target rich environment IMO.  Not often I get 6 and 8 kill sorties before dying ya know. :D

Let 'em swarm if they want to,  especially since HTC does NOT support a Historical Arena.    I'll take off a couple fields down and grab until 25 or 30k alt and then pick 'em off as they come up to say "Howdy".
;)

What I DO have a beef with is the morons that insist on using the Shore batteries to level towns and fields, when the OPOSSING SIDE hasn't shore batteries to reciprocate with..!   Outright chickenturd, poor gamesmanship IMO!  The map maker should be made to sit in one of those towns being shelled all night.... Better yet, TURN OFF SHORE BATS OR GIVE THEM TO BOTH SIDES..!

This ain't rocket science, or bridge building that requires an engineering degree ya know?

Thanks, and aren't y'all glad I didn't name names on the artillery fruits?

Estes, what some CT nugget thinks about what my squad does, or which side it flies, matters about >< much to me. We grab alt because thats what fighters do. Its not Snoopy vs the Red Baron MA flying. We pick the side we want to fly, if it bothers you so bad, log off.

So far talking smack seems to be your best asset. Keep it up, you have a great rep for a guy who started last month.

Something else too, next time we log in, please, somebody post on ch.1 every 2 min about the side balance, its ohh so very helpfull!!!, and we all feel better for being kept informed. "Its 43 to 20"...."Its 38 to 15"...."Its 20 to 35"....gripping stuff.

Cheerio.

i always find it amusing that those who always make sure they're on the side with #'s, fly the highest, gang the hardest...

pull a about "fun."
