This is a sad day indeed. I sit here at work and wonder what it was that went wrong. I remember 1986, I was only 10 at that time, but I remember. I pray for all who are affected in any way shape or form from this tragedy.

Brave they were....I'm proud of their sacrifice. They lived life fully.

May God have mercy on them all.

These people are part of the group of folks that are true heros. They go and do things not fior the money, but for what they can do to make it better for others. God must surely have a special place for them to have called them to Him so early. I pray not for those that lost their lives for they are with their God. I pray for those left behind that they might have their grief eased and begin to live again.

to those who risk their lives in the performance of their duties.
DEFINITION OF A VETERAN
A Veteran - whether active duty, retired, national guard or reserve - is someone who, at one point in their life, wrote a check made payable to "The United States of America", for an amount of "up to and including my life."

May he go forth in the sunrise boat,
May he come to port in the sunset boat,
May he go among the imperishable stars,
May he journey in the Boat of a Million Years.

Don't know if anyone else heard the mission commander's comments on the anniversary of the Challenger's accident.  Very appropriate, but now very spooky.
Gods comfort to those who mourn,
His mercy to those who perished,
and grant us wisdom to understand why,
good men and women,
trying to improve all mens lives,
must perish

A great tragedy... I also remember the Challenger disaster from 1986, I was in highschool back then. Saw a charred helmet on CNN an hour or so ago...

And euhm, I don't know how to put this but:

Sweat Jesiuos!

Is this intentional?
