I've gotten a few slaps in my life. I've never gotten slapped tring to pick up a woman. Am never rude and don't use primitive stuff like 'nice boobs' or the like. Usually I amke a comment that can be interpreted several ways and then let them figure out how to handle it - their response indicates whether they're interested or not. Saves time and embarrasment,
Been slapped by my girlfriends though. Usually for ignoring them; they've gone on rants and I've turned a deaf ear. I try not to discuss with emotionally upset people. And that state, of course, is one that produces slaps.

. What lazs do is usually my response too - if they presist, grab their hands, raise voice a little bit and explain that I have no intention of ever hitting them but if I wanted to I could.
I don't hit women. if I was assaulted, I'd fight back, but slaps are another matter.
