The minimap is VERY difficult to read. For instance, yesterday I was directing planes to A10 instead of A18, simply because the text looked like 'A10'. Altitudes are next to impossible to read, too.

Please fix this.

two ways to do this on your own:

1.  change your res.   :D

2.  use the clipboard features for making it bigger/smaller... them arrows down in the righthand corner.

I'm always right, it just takes some poepl longer to come to that realization than others.

The arrows don't give any improvement, alas.

Read the thread "HTC Request" in this forum and think happy thoughts.

Use the Insert and Delete to zoom in on the map.  That will give you a better read of the numbers.

I have no problems when using these

There is a KNOWN issue with the trinity map at high res.  Because of the speckled look and especially because of the mid value of the overall map (its not really light or really dark), it makes reading ANY colors very difficult with the tiny font HT has maxed us at.  Not there is also a big issue with the map picture being taken with the sun at high noon....kinda makes the mountains disapear on the map.

I was told this was being fixed weeks and weeks ago....we shall see.

The best maps would be the ones that look like MAPS and not just the terrain zoomed out....Combat theater has these maps and they are WONDERFUL.  I firmly beleive these types of maps should be at least an option.
