Ok There are still many angles for those of us not completely conversant with the intricacies(sp?+) Anyways whats changed with the the way we play?
No more pork their front line fields to reduce their fuel. No more kill their nearby barracks. Hell no point in porking their nearby fields at all... Hey!! why even pork the field we want to capture?! (ermm thats another story from the riverbank)
The insta resupply.. U see an attack forming and heading to your field. You up a goon with field supplies from a nearby base. The attack occurs they just level the field and everything on it.. You fly over the field amidst heavy fire You push a supply crate or 2 out the door just before they take the wing off...
Well as soon as one of those crates hits the ground anywhere close to the field, its rebuilt magically!! Everything, ack, VH, FH, BH, dar, barracks u name it!! I am not sure if the Town acks are rebuilt at the same time however.
I think the supply model is a great addition; however not perfect. Supplies should be divided into categories. Examples would be: Building supplies, for hangars, barraks etc. AA, for defenses and barracks. Fuel, duh. Ammo: duh.
I also think if it isn't already that the town be supplied along with the base. If any bases capture was dependent on the local population I think the base would exert some control +)
With this supply model, what is the point of having factories? Just for the times when noone wants to fly a supply run?
Any base that is cutoff from its supply depot should not be able to resupply any other bases.
Any factory that has been flattened should not be able to resupply its depot, therefore not able to resupply any bases attached to that depot.
oh yeah reward supply runs!! even if it is just a couple of perks and have the pilot choose which category to score them as (fiter, buff etc)
Ok its late, i'm tired but i will continue with more thots later +)
