I reached 47.7K. I made the shot a few seconds after it...
     

I could have gone higher...well I suspect it but I was in a hurry to tunr the computer off (mother was angry with me because it is 1.30am here    )

so...lets see if you went higher

(Remember that little bug where if you take off from a V base you shoot straight up to 120k + as a flaming lawndart?   )

I also went over 100k two seperate times back in beta.    Once when the "easter egg" was in place that said "engaging rocket boosters, maintaining 2.5k per min climb rate."  The second time was when we had that tiny little bug that let the b17s keep accelerating (couldn't slow down mind you   to 600 mph +.  You could just keep climbing and climbing...
