Japan: We don't see no steeenking Missile!

South Korea: No, really! they fired a freakin missile!!

China: Confusious say, if missile falls in ocean and nobody hears of it, then missile missed.

They're probably just prodding, to see what happens.

$10 says they launch a longer range missile within the next few weeks. Perhaps like that last one that overflew Japan.

Hangtime, I think they were indicating they didn't know if it was a missle test or a live fire... atleast that's what I inferred.

Probably right Vulcan, but I'm still having trouble discerning if it's demonstration... or preperation.

Please, please, please.

North Korea in no way poses any sort of credible threat to the United States, South Korea, Japan or the rest of the world.

There is no proof that they actually have nuclear weapons.

There is no proof that they have any missiles with more capability than a Scud.

They are not hungry; they are all extremely well fed and there is no starvation. All reports you have read about hungry NK's are fabrications and lies from government organizations and a biased press.

Additionally, the matter of the NK's booting out the nuclear inspectors has been noted by the UN and is on its way to the Security Council. It is, really.

Therefore, let's give the UN time to work and get those inspectors back in there in a few years. Then they can look around for a year or two and see what's really going on.

I see no evidence of a threat that Iraq poses to the USA.  It might be there, but the USA and UK have declined to show it thus far.

I do see a direct threat that N. Korea poses to the USA, Japan and S. Korea.  A threat that has likely been greatly increased by the Bush Administration's "Bull in the Chinashop" act on the world stage.

To insinuate that Iraq and N. Korea are one and the same and that people's reactions to them will be the same only shows the depth of your misunderstanding of everything that has been said.

And the US has not yet condemned the test. In fact neither has the UK.
