oh thats roadkill tell me how file sharing has ANYTHING to do with 9/11 or terrorism.

using terrorism as a point to lobby against the enemies of the RIAA is idiotic. And bringing the twin towers attack into the equation is downright disrespectful.

BS

This is just the MPAA trying to inevitable flood of internet content distribution and I think they are being stupid and shortsighted. Within 10 years they will probably control all intenet movie distribution and the sytem they use will developed on what people are doing today and tommorow. None of the big studios or distributors would ever have had the foresight or knowlege to develop a Napster or a Kazaa and look what those two have accomplished and how much they have advanced the state of massive file distribution.  They are just building the framework and figuring out the bugs of such large systems and  the movie/conntent companies are paying for it, inderectly if at all, through some possible loss of revenue. They are being stupid and shortsighted  just like disney was with home video 25 years ago.

Sounds like you shouldn't be comparing the two then, show some respect please!

I was simply saying thats how I felt on 9/11.

Oh to be young and dumb again....

Oh to be old and STILL be dumb.

I said that blaming file sharing on terrorism is going way too far, and this is how you reply to ME:

How is one supposed to interpret this, in the context of FILE SHARING SUPPORTS TERRORISM?
Or did you just barge in here and said that at random?

You were clearly trying to refute my point in your usual vague way, opening with the 9/11 reference, and now you are trying to do the switcheroo and make it seem like I was the one who brought it, and being disrespectful.

Dont change it. Just say: how is file sharing somehow responsible for terrorism?

It reminds me of the saying "Every time you masturbate, God kills a kitten", only I don't take the one about file sharing that seriously.
