Funked, no intercooler - its not a Turbo, but the front and rear spoilers are a factory option. Its FAR less inspiring in the acceleration department than the 951, but the handeling charectaristics make up for that - its "interesting."
Ill have the car on the Pocono South course at the end of May, so well see how it likes the track. Ill just have to remember not to lift in the turns and as standard practice, tape a little sign in teh corner of the windshield that reads "Drive it home."

Wetrat... yes I would like an AM, unfortunately they are a tad out of my price range.
MiniD - 1988 - I was shooting for a late 3.2L because of the G-50 tranny (87-89) and I like the "rawness" of the pre-964's (no power steering, etc) - the car requires alot of "work" to get the most out of it - its a challenge, but very rewarding.
hblair - Aye, Im constantly fascinated when I poke around in this thing. The alignment will have to be done after I get track wheels mounted. Im going to have it done professionally because I dont want to screw around with re-indexing the torsion bars 15 times... 130MPH on the back straight is not when you want to be wondering if the car will stay pointed straight.
The stock wheels are pizza cutters - skinny 6's in front and 7's in the back. Im gonna try and mount 7.5's up front and 9's in the rear - hoping I wont have to adjust camber too much or roll the fenders.
Other than that, thanks for the tip, I hadn't heard of anything quite like what youre describing, Ill watch out for it.
