only becuase we did it quickly while we were still pissed!

think they'd have been that supportive if we'd waited until say today to act?

then again Afghanistan didn't/doesn't do trade in the BILLIONS with france, russia, china or germany so they would not give a rats arse ....

Poland, Russian ?? what do you know about their information services ?

Is this where you are going to tell us that Poland is really a great Mid east intel asset? Or that Russia shares its intel with the US?

I think the key phrase here is "some" as in "share some information".

As for the Poles, no, I didnt know that. In fact, I'm not really sure I believe it at all, but Im certain you can provide me with some sources? Anyway, two observations,
1) I doubt the polish intel is better than the Israeli intel.
2) I dont think the US stand vs the UN has driven off Poland. In fact, I think France has been alienating Poland with their attitude.

Hortlund check history before making definitive conclusions (I speak of point 2).
It's never that simple when it's between old country.

Concerning point 1 ... are you sure the Isrealy are the best of the best ?

does anyone believe that the latvian states, poland, or ukraine will will ever acceed to a german-french ultimatum, economic or otherwize?

i wonder what they are thinking in eastern europe.. how very odd it seems... seeing the polarization of europe developing, NATO, the EU.. alliances shifting.. I suspect we will not be lacking for stong staunch allies in europe. I do believe these allies will simply be from places a mite further east than we're used to looking.

and as much as i despise israli policy, i also suspect that washington would take a dim view indeed regarding any franco-prussian agression against isreal... and i tend to agree; the irali's are likely not to need any overt help from us in slapping down any franco-prussian military move.

no military assets on the face of this planet larger than a brigade move without risking notice from sattelites and NSA.

i wonder if any mechanisim exists to effect substantive change in the seating arrangements at the UN secuity council.. i.e. the addition of seats, the removal of seats.. or a change of residence.
The price of Freedom is the willingness to do sudden battle, anywhere, any time and with utter recklessness...

...at home, or abroad.
