What settings are you trying to use in the game and what type of video card do you have?

Download latest drivers for your Video and Sound cards.

Download and install the latest chipset drivers for your motherboard.

Before starting the game, make sure there are no other programs running in the background except for Explorer & Systray. Press CTRL+ALT+DEL to see a list of programs running in the background.

Click on start then run and type DXDiag and hit "enter". Click on the Sound tab at the top and move the sound hardware acceleration tab to Standard and then select the video tab at the top, disable the D3D acceleration option then re-enable it again. Click OK.

Make sure your version of Windows has all the latest updates by checking http://windowsupdate.microsoft.com.

Delete the video7.cfg file from the  HTC\AcesHigh\settings  folder.
