He really practiced for this one. Took his time, didn't mess up... guess people will have to debate real issues this time, instead of his public speaking abilities.

Thank you, Rockstar. That finally puts a face and  a voice to Blitz.  ;)

Crouch down and lick the hands which feed you. May your chains sit lightly upon you, and may posterity forget that you were our countrymen!

'nickelodeon diplomacy'

ROFL!!!

'explain to me how you can achieve peace and justice in iraq while saddam hussein remains in power'

'blah blah blah, giggle giggle, blah blah blah.'

'can you answer the question little girl?'

'blah blah blah, i am not a little girl'

'the peace movement cannot even justify it's own name, little girl'.

"Sanctions are the economic nuclear bomb."
-- Mairead Maguire, Nobel Peace Laureate, returning from a March 1999 visit to Iraq.

Harper's Magazine

November 2002

Cool War: Economic sanctions as a weapon of mass destruction

By Joy Gordon.

"Since the U.N. adopted economic sanctions in 1945, in its charter, as a means of maintaining global order, it has used them fourteen times (twelve times since 1990). But only those sanctions imposed on Iraq have been comprehensive, meaning that virtually every aspect of the country's imports and exports is controlled, which is particularly damaging to a country recovering from war. Since the program began, an estimated 500,000 Iraqi children under the age of five have died as a result of the sanctions -- almost three times as many as the number of Japanese killed during the U.S. atomic bomb attacks."

Looks like we should fear for the children regardless of war.

which is yet one more reason why we are going after saddam now.

saddam, the french, the germans and the russians are not in the slightest put out by the sanctions. in fact, they prospered under the sanctions. economic warfare has not worked. saddam gets palaces with french, german, russian 'oil for food' deals.

the suffering will be over soon.

Huh? Is Micheal Jackson going to be going over there?
