Stat page FUBAR'd?

I've flown the g2 for two missions this tour, shooting down 3 enemy planes in one and 1 in another. haven't got killed.

Yet when I use plane vs plane stats, I get 2 kills, 2 deaths. Anyone else getting wrid results?

did you land both those missions. If u ditched or bailed, it is technically a kill in those stats..... I think

And in that stats page, only deaths matter, which makes it a bad one for calculating K/D ratio (some people bail!)

Btw, I don't know why it gave you deaths in the G2. I haven't noticed such thing in my stats.

Saw a similar situation at one point last tour.  I knew I had died in an engagement to a Typhoon but the stat page showed that I had neither killed or died to a Tiffie.

Strange, but I couldn't isolate it or reproduce it.

Yeah I've noticed the same thing too.

Out of my 160 or so sorties, its got me down for 89 deaths.  I never died

StSanta.. I've said this to you before but you must have missed it...

Bails count as kills.  Anytime someone is awarded a kill for you going down, it is logged as a kill in the stats page.  The things that don't count are situations like HOs where one pilot outlasts the other before dieing... and no kill is awarded for his death.  Or when you auger trying to CV launch.  In those cases, no kills are awarded for your death, so no kill is counted against you on the stats page.

What might be happening is that Ronnie occasionally changes the order of things on the list and eventually runs into a slight mismatch between what the page is requesting and where it is looking.

stsanta has 15 kills and has been killed 0 times in the Ta 152H.

I have one ditch (outta fuel)

and one bail.

If you do not believe me, ask Kirin. Ripped my wings and bailed.

So, bails do not count as deaths as long as you're hit by ack or bail without getting hit. Hm, but there are situations where I've had more deaths (beeb shot down) than what it shows (be it bails or ditches). This is the latest example, hence me bringing it up again.

And aye, I've somehow missed what you and Snefens said in the past regarding this. Either that or forgotten it.

Santa, you can plow right into the ground on fire with one wing and no tail and have no kill show in that stat if nobody was actually awarded the kill.  That is all it comes down to... who was awarded the kill.

By the way, I've had plenty of guys bail in front of me where I know I was awarded the kill and they were awarded a death.

Noone recieved kill-message on you.
No matter if you bailed or rode the wreck down would it have been counted in the stats.
