What's going on out there?  Heard over 1000 arrested.  Hardly any reports on cable regarding SF.

I heard that San Fransico would be the target of "shock and awe" tommorrow.

Just too many hippies getting out of control.  Property destrcution, making life difficult for residents of the city, etc.

Generally taking a protest a little too far.

San Francisco is such a great town, too bad there's so many freaks. While I was stationed at USCGSupCen Alameda in 1979 we were cautioned about wearing our Uniform off Base. There was a string of attacks on sailors (dunno about other Military) by gangs. Several guys were beaten within an inch of their life just for walking down the street in uniform. What in the hell was going thru those peoples minds? San Francisco was supposed to be the home of Peace Loving Hippies, not Blood Thirsty Bastages that want to kill you just for defending them.

Watch Out Saddam...The Coast Guard is coming for YOU!

My mind is a raging torrent, flooded with rivulets of thought cascading into a waterfall of creative alternatives.
Stay thirsty my friends.

While iraqi operatives run free in US we got these losers taking up valuable police time.

Get over your selves.

A bunch of out of work losers protesting is about as much a sacrafice as asking a teen ager to sleep late on the weekend

fyi the Coast Guard is one of the most active services during war.
They take their little boats up the rivers and byways, drop off marines on shore without getting the marines feet wet..
the navy does this from a safe distance.. marines definately get wet :)

problem is only a 30% survival rate during war for CG
