Serious question for people...

Atmsktr,

I just posed the question to see if there was any decent discussion left here on this board.

I wasn't let down by my squaddies.

I wasn't let down by most everyone else.

Peace is what comes automatically when locking down all the Mathmans of this world to a padded cell.

No need to hate Germany, no need to hate the USA.
I think its OK to exchange opinions but now its time to stop with sarcastic comments or personel abuses.

I stopped to discuss about this war cause things where getting out of hand. There are to many emotions regarding this issue. Blitz i would really suggest to stop posting these kind of comments. U gain nothing from it and u'll rather raise the hate vs. France, Germany, the anti war crowd than convince someone of ur opinion.

Until this post (and the thread that was locked), I was willing to give you some leeway concerning your comments.  You are obviously very committed in your beliefs on war in general and specifically this war.

However, with this and other recent posts, you have lost my respect.  You seem to confuse support for troops with war mongering.  You seem to hate the US for not doing anything 20 years ago, and you hate the US for doing something now.

Please, feel free to continue hating the US.  I will keep up the proud tradition of my grandfathers and great uncles and continue to hate Germany.

Thanks,
-Math

I hate the warmongers in the white house not american people who are victims of the biggest propaganda war ever seen in America.

You may aceppt  your losses as nessasary, i deny that.

They are not nessasary, the entire war wasn't.

Mr. Bush ****ed it up politically

Every victim of this war is one too much.

I feel sorry for every american or english soldier that will die and although i don't like the arabs very much i feel sorry for anyone of them to die, too :(

Regards Blitz

This war is sick and will create even more hate in the moslim/arab world and in US

America was threatened by Iraq in no way , it was just plain ridiculous, it's a classic 'Angriffskrieg'

This wasn't meant as a disrespect for dead people.

It referes to the unbelievable CNN live shows from tanks running through Iraq .

This isn't a movie :(

Peace is an illusion. Even with the absence of wars, you still will not have peace. With the absence of international aggression, you still will not have peace. With the whole world under control of one governing body, you will still not have peace.

Until you can seperate the billions of people on this planet onto their own individual planets with no mode of transportation between the them, you will not have peace.

If you believe otherwise, you simply have not been paying attention to the world we live in.

No matter how intelligent and learned humans become, they still can not seperate themselves from their most basic animal instincts.

...but you gotta admit, watching him try is fun.
The price of Freedom is the willingness to do sudden battle, anywhere, any time and with utter recklessness...

...at home, or abroad.
