Strange... I missed the funny portion of that post frenchy.
Seems you're definately on a tear with the posts today... so I'll say this once for you because you don't seem to grasp American news, radio or much else this week.
Radio: Everything said is strictly for reaction. They cater to their audience and give them what they want. If its a right wing crowd, they spew right wing crap. If its left wing, they do the opposite. Its polarity based. Nobody wants objective counterpoints. Those aren't good for market share.
News: The news could show people sitting in their homes content with what's going on... or agreeing with it. But, that wouldn't exactly make for an exciting show. They show the unusual newsworthy things... not the norm. My wife works at the federal building downtown. Its across from the county courthouse, the city courthouse and the state courthouse. Needless to say, 90% of all protests start there. I can not begin to tell you how many times I've driven by protests that had more media coverage personell than protestors. Yet.. to see it on the news that night... well... they had to make it news.
Even the large protests that gather 1000s of people are not representative of the overall attitude. But, they are newsworthy, so they do get massive coverage. Once again... its only covering the outspoken against, not everyone.
Its called perspective Frenchy. You'll see what you want to see.
