What a sad day... a little prayer for those that gave the ultimate sacrifice. <S>


 Second,
I won an ebay bid last month and What a day for it to show up, seams fitting

1: WW2 carrier flight deck cap USN  1943 and goggles (Polaroid 1944)   WOW!!

1: WW2 army shirt ( worn, size large )
2: mess kit ( 1943 used)
3: bullet belt
4: ammo belt
5: ordinance  pouch
6: cap
7: another storage belt

The shirt, jacket and goggles are pretty cool but what the F*ck you gonna do with the rest of the stuff?  You drunk when ordered this stuff?  Might make yourself a great utility belt when you choose to be Batman next holloween.  

Can you imagine the caped crusader in a Nik?  I think not...I can only see him in a 51 or P47.  Something big and shiny.

Ok, that was a bit of a disgusting comment. What I am trying to say is that no matter what country in Europe involved in WWII, there were huge material and human losses. From a purely humatarian point of view, it saddens me that Hitler took the lives of 3 million young German men countless Russians, a great number of Polacks and Brits, French and whatnot.
