Frenchy... KFI belongs to Clear Channel.

Anyone who thinks the liberals control the media hasn't done their homework. Clear Channel owns over 1200 stations and is responsible for making Dubya a multi-millionaire.

I think the key is to have a balance of both, liberal and conservative.

Did you used to say this before Fox and Rush came along?

Don't get me wrong... Clear Channel isn't politically owned, but they are well placed politically. They have a vast amount of influence.

but if people didnt listen they would fail....the people are deciding which stations and programs last.....hence liberal programs having a much harder time to break through.

There is no breaking through. Clear Channel is building a monopoly.

Live in the area... KFI is sometimes the ONLY station that will come in, it is that powerful.

The Line up----

Bill Handel - Morning DJ, pretty moderate for a Jewish Lawyer.
Rush
Dr. Laura
John & Ken

Getting VERY difficult to find a liberal talk show anywhere on the radio. I guess libs don't like to call in and agree with the host.

Ever hear of NPR? All the government liberal radio you could ever wish for. They just don't have to be viable to exist

You live in California and can't find a liberal station? LOL

What you need is NPR as Nuke pointed out, or PRI (Public Radio International) or Pacifica Radio.  They have hippie-dippie hosts and shows galore.  :)
