Salute

The TOD crew is looking at the idea of creating a `Squad` of AH players who will participate in TOD`s as Tankers, PT Boat Skippers, LVT Drivers, etc.

It would give players who love to drive vehicles, sail vessels or man guns the opportunity to fight in a historically based enviroment.

For example, you might be in a Wehrmacht Tank Platoon one frame, a USN PT boat Squadron the next, or manning a Shore battery repelling an invasion the next.

Unlike those guys who fly aircraft in the TOD`s, you could have multiple lives, and you could perform several different roles in the course of a single frame.

You would be able to participate in both the Friday and Saturday TOD`s.

This `Gunner Squad` would not be an official AH Squad and would not bar you from membership in any other established AH Squad, although of course if your `real` Squad is already participating in the TOD`s, then you would probably not want to join the `Gunners`.

People who are interested in the idea, please post below.

very awesome idea!!

i would love to do this but when i got free time on friday nights i fly with my squadies. this is great though, hopefully there will be more that are hip to it

Gunner`s had fun in last Saturday`s TOD. Drove tanks, manned guns, flew aircraft...

The Squad is now officially registered, but as mentioned, it exists only for TOD purposes, you don`t have to leave your AH Squad to participate.

Count me in, sounds like fun. An attack on a CV fleet with a squad of PTs boats would prolly be a blast. 1 might actually make it through.
