Get the program called "Animagic GIF ". You can use the program free for 30 days. Very good program.

Avatars are cute and all. And even somewhat interesting or amusing the first dozen times ya see `em (yep - even made one meself). But I miss the ability to attach images, dammit.

You cant make them in photoshop...but you can make them in Image Ready....a part of photoshop 7 suite
