No more for me. It is still better than what I would get if I posted on Iraqi boards in 1991, I guess.

I have my opinion, but time will tell.

Best of luck to ordinary people.

Picking up your ball and going home eh?

Oh.. wait... you don't want to go home..... there are still US troops there keeping the peace aren't there?

That's gotta sting.

What an irritant seeing that flag on their shoulders, standing between the slaughterers and slaughterees.

Cya.
If ye love wealth better than liberty, the tranquility of servitude than the animated contest of freedom, go from us in peace. We ask not your counsels or arms. Crouch down and lick the hands which feed you. May your chains sit lightly upon you, and may posterity forget that you were our countrymen!

Blitz, perhaps you should focus your efforts on surviving in the failing German economy instead of protesting a war your country is sitting out of.

Let's see. Saddam remains unimpressed by ~250K coalition troops moving towards him to force him to "piss off, leave ya people alone!"

I'm sure this unsuspected attack on Blitz' poster will just blindside him and make him give up. Clever, Blitz. No way he can withstand an assault like that. You da man.

BBC:

The Basra citizens were attacked as they tried to cross a bridge on the western outskirts of the city...

British forces spokesman Group Captain Al Lockwood said: "Paramilitary forces loyal to the regime followed them and commenced firing upon them...

It was suggested the civilians may have been trying to get to food and water aid at points outside Basra - as they had done on previous days....

Mr Lockwood said militia had been trying to force ordinary residents to fight with them and that those seen leaving may have been attempting to flee....

Blitz, tell me...... in what other conflict has the military deliberately fired on it's own citizens that were simply fleeing a battle area? What regimes support that kind of action?

As I've said before, it seems that in our "modern" world many folks have lost the ability to distinguish the difference between good and evil. I belive, in the long run THIS is what will eventually destroy our world civilization.

The priorities listed above support that conjecture IMO.

Oh Toad, leave Bistro alone.

He just gets a little grumpy when he comes home after a hard day of ethnic cleansing.

1. I work , that's all i can do for my countries economy.

2. Germany doesn't "sit it out". 70% of our people are against this "police action" of the United States. We hate this war and we distrust your government. This time the protest isn't mostly from left side like in evil Vietnam times , it touches everyone from the professor, over the simple worker to the housewife.I have never seen such a big and persistant defence against a political crime like this time.
Our children probably will grow up with a picture of America that shows it very questionable in regards of morality and political honesty.

I remember Vietnam times when my picture of a big nice nation which freed us from the nazies got some deep scratches.
It will be most likely the same now.

Regards Blitz

America was threatened by Iraq in no way, it was just plain ridiculous, it's an "Angriffskrieg"

2 Million people was killed in Vietnam, 3 million injured. What for?

Replace Nazies with a genocidal dictator and that will be the same statement from Iraqi civilians in a few months.

All i want to say with this line on my poster is, that i'm not blindeyed.

This said:It is not up to the US to rule this world, it's not yours!

Question Blitz: You say you remember Vietnam and how it left marks on the US's integrity.

Were you alive during that time, and if so... which Germany did you live in?

Don't dodge the question or play dumb. East/West, which side?
