Ok What was it last night :The G-3?

Defending A30 last night Thursday night from repeated waves of Rook attacks. Great furball.

During the height of the battle as I was taking off, typically the video was off, something passed by at speed, parallel to the runway and took a few shots at me. The icon seemed to read G_3. I lost sight of it quickly but when I queried it several others had seen it too. There were several comments on it's X files nature but no one identified it. Somene suggested it gave of a green glow LOL!

So does anyone know? Is it a bug or a cheat or a new prototype from HTC? Or did I misread the icon. The only G3 I know is a bizjet. Anyone got any ideas.

It's a UFO. I know HTC like their squids but UFO's are something else. Is there an area 51 on the trinity map.

Are you sure it didn't read G-S?

Those icons are bailed gunner/observers (their chute).

That might explain it except that this G-S flew down the length of the runway shooting at me.  So unless he brought his gun with him when he bailed and used a rocket pack then he must have been in an aircraft.
But it does make sense in that it must have been a turreted aircraft. Perhaps due to some bug I saw the icon for the gunner rather than the aircraft type.

That makes some sense. Pity though I preferred the alien spaceship theory.

LOL. my theory is this.....


Shot down a bomber one day, and saw a chute "pilot"maybe.....then I saw that G-S thing.....no plane, but it was shooting at me....."gunner maybe?" with a  bug...cuz the plane exploded......

There is an area 51 on the trinity map.

About 5 miles west of A80 you will see this.



And at night the crop circles glow very bright. this SS doesnt do it justice. The ambiant light will light the inside of the cockpit.

I attacked a 5k B26 formation and after killing the last bomber the gunner bailed. Well this "G-S" icon fell 2,000 feet and then started flying horizontal at 100mph. I made 3 passes at the icon, all the while he was shooting at me and I was getting pinged. At the end of the third pass I killed the icon. To bad I only filmed part of the UFO encounter.

  We know they're associated with area 51 and thats in Nevada.

Well it seems there's a bug, a chute that shoots back. It occurs to me that it might come in useful if it can be replicated. Launch a raid with lots of gunners. Over the target all the gunners bail out and shoot at anything that moves on the way down. The effect would be a doubling of the targets for the enemy. It's worth a try.

I don't know if this is the same thing you are talking about, but this a picture of my Roswell experience (This was 1 or 2 years ago).  



This one I chased for a couple of sectors then used all of my ammo on it to no effect.  I returned to base as it continued to fly north.

Yes that's it zanth, green it was too. Bet it didn't show up on radar either and is made of something unknown to mankind. I wonder though? Was it the gunner or was the gunner abducted by something or someone other worldy in this green ship. Are there any gunners out there who have come back from this experience?

The answer is out there. I think we should be told. Does HTC really mean Higher Type Consciousness or something else??????

I'm not mad the voices told me so;)

In WW2 the pilots called these mysterious sightings 'Foo Fighters', yes like the rock band and for the teenagers amongst you no the band does not date from WW2 even they look old enough to.

It is some sort of bug alright but I wouldn't like to see it taken away. It's quite fun really. I'm going to offer to gun for someone to if it happens to me. If you don't hear from me anymore you know what happened.

Meanwhile I have to go there are two strange men in Raybans and dark suits at my door and is that a black helicopter I see hovering outside...................... ......................
