Thanks for looking all of this stuff up and posting the results.
In contrast to P6EHawk, I find them to be interesting and useful (a little hard to read/interpret however).
While K/D stats can clearly be misleading for many reasons, they are real numbers that reflect what really happens in the CT. They do not always point out which side has the best plane, or which side has the more pilots, but they DO help point out when a set up is balanced as far as game play goes.
It can be argued that one side has faster planes, more pilots, better base position (and CVs), a better mix of E and A planes, better armed planes, more experienced players, etc. However, if a side has a K/D that is near 1.0, then that’s a good indication that the plane set was balanced, ALL things considered (no matter how good either side’s whines sounded). If one side has a K/D of 0.5, then that’s a good indication that their complaints about balance were valid, and (most importantly) changes should be made the next time that set up comes around.
Without such stats, all that we have are a bunch of opinions, with nothing to back them up.
