No... I'm coloring my perception by the fact that I don't want to fund Scientology by purchasing the book. Yeah... I guess I could go to the library... :)

@Sandman :

Battelfield hearth is not a bad scifi book and Mission Earth got some pretty hilarious part (btw I've got the book from the library ;))

The only film I've ever seen was "Adieu ma concubine" (I'll search the English tittle)

found : http://us.imdb.com/Title?0106332

and viewing this film in Madarin was pretty boring...

Good man.
I was too young for that one.  But I wish I had seen it so I would have had the opportunity to walk out.  Thank you for doing it for future generations.

Walked out of Forrest Gump.  I admit I was still pretty young at the time it was in the theaters, but the first hour of it was just really damn boring.  Watched it again later on video, it got a little better, but not really enough to make me regret leaving.

American Beauty - the girl I was with had a more rewarding experience planned.

Saw it on video later. Good film.

Never walked out on a film even though I saw Titanic at the cinema. Very much a 'gonna get my money's worth' when I got to see a film.

Pearl Harbour.

And I would have walked out of Titanic too, except I never walked in. Had it been physically possible, I would have, though.

Fortunately, I am now almost 28, which means I won't have to go see chick flicks with prospective girlfriends any more.

Pulp Fiction? Really?

I guess the violence is gratuitous, but there is an interesting story there.

I've never walked out of a theatre - I'll sit through anything if I've paid a lot of money to see it.  But, there are videos I've rented and never finished watching - "Casino" comes to mind right off.  Two tapes and I didn't even get through the first one.  Looked like a good movie but my time is precious and I didn't have time to watch something that long.  I do plan on trying it again sometime.

I guess I could not get past the violence long enough to see the point of it.  But then again,..I walked out of the Matrix as well.

Well, the Matrix was just action without a story. :) You didn't miss much, although the special effects were impressive.

I didn't walk out of the theatre, but when I saw it the first time on 'video' I watched about half an hour of it and turned it off.

I gave it another chance the next day and loved it.

If you are not in the mood to try and figure out the storyline then I can see why people walked out of this one.
Some will fall in love with life and drink it from a fountain that is pouring like an avalanche coming down the mountain
